Episode 40 - Aztec Gods, Game Awards 2016, and a dip in Final Fantasy!

This week the guys talk about a TON of trailers, games and movies included. Prepare yourselves for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Passengers, some office murder battle-royale knock off Shaun can't remember the name of, Last of Us Part 2, Death Stranding, Mass Effect Andromeda, and a few odds and ends.

This week featured Game Awards 2016, and boy were they cringe worthy. Plus, plenty of surprise announcements, and reminiscing of games gone by.

Uncharted has already announced a new game, after ending the series, called Lost Legacy. Fantastic Beasts makes an appearance, as does Quetzalcoatl!

Enjoy the show!

Episode 39 - Escape Rooms, Legend of Grimrock 2, and Hostile Takeovers!

Prepare yourselves for greatness, as the guys talk about The Scene OC's latest Escape Room, the incredible directing of Alejandro Gonzalex Inarritu's The Revenant, animals of Zootopia, and all things tangential to conversation!

In the news, we find No Man's Sky gaining its first "Foundation Update," adding new game modes, base building, farming, camp construction, purchase of freighter ships, new resources and technology, better UI, graphical improvements, and a whole bevy of patch notes to dive through. Vivendi attempts a hostile takeover of Ubisoft, and Ubisoft's higher-ups are appealing to shareholders to let them remain autonomous.

Jon finished Orwell, and cannot say how fantastic of a game it is. He highly recommends it, as it directly deals with freedom of speech, and protection from unreasonable search of information (1st and 4th amendment rights, yo!) He also babbles about the greatness of Legend Of Grimrock 2, and the beauty of The Unfinished Swan. Go play those too.

And that's it! Go listen and be sated!! And go buy Jon's board game.

Episode 38 - Twitch, PS VR, News, and a Mortal Kombat movie?!

The audio is back to working order again! Shaun and Jon discuss more of 7 Days To Die and Tyranny, plus Jon's delving into PS VR titles.

Playstation finally gets mod support for Bethesda games, and Fallout New Vegas has a new, fan-made mod called The Frontier!

There's a Mortal Kombat movie in the works, which takes the guys down a rabbit hole of excess violence in recent MK games, and the hyper-violence of Manhunt.

Jon is looking forward to playing The Unfinished Swan, and a curious "Alice in Wonderland" style game called Blackwood Crossing, which is being compared to Firewatch, Gone Home, and Dear Esther.

Plus Conan O'Brien plays Final Fantasy 15, which is one the greatest things we've seen, ever!

Episode 37 - 7 Days To Die, Tyranny, and Technical Difficulties!

First off Shaun messed up the whole recording so it's not top quality this week but he swears he will do a better job next time!

Otherwise this week the guys go over super awesome new game Tyranny by Obsidian. Shaun and Jon jump into a multiplayer session of 7 Days To Die and have a cracking good time!

Staying on the Survival Horror kick we discuss some potential spook fests with Allison Road, Friday the 13th The Game, Outlast 2 (because reasons), Perception, and Routine.

Lastly the guys tackle Jon's views on the new Doctor Strange movie and also some of the rad trailers that showed up before it! Enjoy!

Episode 36 - Playstation VR Special!

Shaun, Jonathan, and special guest Bud try out the new PS VR rig, jumping, sliding, diving, punching, and Snatch-ing their way through PS VR Worlds.

Discussions abound for games like London Heist, EVE Valkyrie, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Resident Evil 7's VR potential, Ocean Descent, and the desire for No Man's Sky in VR to redeem the game itself.

Some of our favorite books make an appearance as well, including Snow Crash, and Ready Player One! Followed by myriad discussions on Resident Evil 1-4, Conker's Bad Fur Day, RARE, Shadows of the Empire, the X-Wing experience, motion sickness, and the next big thing: treadmill VR. Enjoy!
